ImanNet Appeal for Urgent Action
Action Alert 7/2020
Dr Shaik Ubaid, the president of Indian Minorities Advocacy Network, ImanNet has issued an urgent appeal on the eve of digital advertisements by the Hindutva extremists in Times Square, New York City
Dear sisters, brothers and dynamic youth
As Salam/ Peace
I need a few minutes of your time today to convert despair and sadness into contentment and victory. Hindutva terrorists and supremacists who have killed tens of thousands of Muslims, Dalits, Christians, Sikhs, etc. are going to gloat in Times Square of New York City on August 5th. Instead of feeling sadness or despair we must use this opportunity to educate fellow Americans, especially the politicians and the advertisement agencies, demanding that these ads be dropped. Even if these advertisements are not dropped the overconfident act of Hindutva goons gives us an opportunity to educate influential Americans about the bloody history and bloodier aims of the RSS and it’s fronts like the VHP and BajrangDal.
RSS is trying to make August 5 a holiday for its brainwashed and bloodthirsty followers. It is the day it started its most recent persecution and operation of Kashmiris last year
It is likely that it will take more steps on August 5th in coming years to destroy the secular constitution and rule of law in India
Let us start our counter attack on the eve of August 5, 2020
With strategic Learning, hard work an aid from the Divinely Just, Our Creator, we will defeat them eventually
ImanNet is working with many Muslim and non-Muslim organizations to have a broad-based Front in America against the RSS

TALKING POINTS :
I’m calling you to express my outrage and concern about the celebration of religious bigotry and the evil of massacres on the digital screens in Times Square on August 5
A violent religious supremacist movement which drives inspiration in both ideology and methodology, from Hitler and his Nazi party, used the demonization campaign against a historic mosque – the Babari Masjid- and finally came to power after demolishing it.
It is really concerning that the proponents of this fascist ideology who have been infiltrating the United States, have now become so confident that they are celebrating in the middle of Times Square, an illegal and bloody act.
I want you to condemn the celebration of the demolition of the historic mosque and the pogrom that killed 2000 Muslims
If you have time add:
The historic BABRI MASJID was demolished in the name of a mythological figure, the warrior Hindu god, Ram, who supposedly existed more than 800,000 years ago. There are about a dozen places in India and Nepal which claim to be the birthplace of Ram.
Over the last few years, militant Hindu mobs have been lynching Muslims, Christians and Dalits while chanting “Victory to Lord Ram” or Jai Sri Ram
The leaders of the Nassau County Holocaust Center have pointed out that India in 2020 is like Germany under Hitler in 1933
We should not allow Times Square to become a show place for celebration of evil of pogroms and massacres.
